- The Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) program seeks to improve public sector administration by preparing highly competent, skilled administrators to work in applied settings. To accomplish this goal, the M.P.A. program provides students with a course of study intended to improve written and oral communication, to strengthen analytical and statistical skills, and to enhance the students ability to ethically and effectively manage human, financial, and physical resources.
