Program Description:

The 90-hour Master of Divinity (M.Div.) is a professional degree program designed to develop the academic and pastoral skills necessary for ministerial leadership. The program is available to students preparing for lay ministry in the Catholic Church or pastoral leadership in other Christian denominations. Candidates must complete a 90-hour program that provides a solid academic foundation in combination with supervised pastoral practice.

The program requires the completion of 126 hours with a minimum cumulative average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale, including 104 credit hours of required courses, 12 credit hours of electives and 10 credit hours of pastoral field education.* *Ecclesiastical authorities of candidates for sacramental ordination may specify additional requirements in academics and in pastoral field education.
