Program Description:
Set in the heart of one of the world’s most innovative and diverse cities, the Intensive English Program (IEP) has been offering non-credit, non- degree English classes to students since 1974. The IEP creates a challenging and integrative language learning program to help strengthen your skill and confidence as an English communicator. 2014 Program Dates Session A: May 19 - June 27 Session B: June 30 - August 8 Students may attend one or both sessions.

The curriculum takes an integrated approach, combining U.S. culture, educational field trips around the Bay Area, and classroom study. In class, students study integrated skills in the morning (reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary) and oral communication skills (listening, speaking, fluency, and pronunciation) in the afternoon.

The Intensive English Program provides small classes that prepare students for academic and professional work in English. Faculty all have master's or PhD's degrees, are experienced, and provide individual attention to each student.
Setting Description:
The University of San Francisco is a Catholic, Jesuit university in a safe residential neighborhood of San Francisco. The beautiful campus is on 55 acres and overlooks the Pacific Ocean, downtown San Francisco, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
