Program Description:

The Master of Science Management is an important new program, unique in Australia, that provides an understanding of critical science issues that are shaping our future, and how to respond to these within a professional environment. The program offers a focused but very flexible combination of studies in management, administration and science, and is aimed at strategic-level management professionals or anybody else who needs to have the skills and expertise to think critically, understand contemporary science issues relevant to their professional interest, and develop and manage science-based solutions.

The program is fully on-line and therefore students can proceed at their own pace, taking a compulsory course in project management, then choices of courses dealing with science management and with critical contemporary issues in science. Graduate will be eligible to apply for accreditation with the Australian Institute of Management.

The program offered exit options into either a Graduate Certificate of Science Management or a Graduate Certificate in Science, and students who wish to pursue further study may transfer into the Honours program that provides advanced training in research methods and a pathway into possible research higher degree studies.
