Program Overview

Program Description:
Semester at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore

UCSC was founded in 1921, and has 30,000 students on the Milan campus. Formerly a monastery and adjacent to the 12th century Church of Saint Ambrose, the campus is picturesque and serene. Milan is a fast-paced, enterprising, vibrant city on the cutting edge of almost everything; design, fashion, finance, music and culture flourish in this modern metropolis. Located in northern Italy, Milan is an excellent base to discover Italy as well as neighboring European countries such as France, Switzerland, and Austria.

Setting Description:
Living and studying in Italy offers an unparalleled opportunity to explore history, art, and culture in the cradle of Western civilization. You can study history in the midst of ancient ruins, and art history while viewing great masterpieces firsthand. At the same time, you can take pleasure from the natural beauty, charm, and ambiance of Italy. USCS will facilitate housing in a student residence hall, if available. Most rooms are singles with access to shared bathroom and kitchen facilities, however en-suite rooms may be available.
