Join us in Marburg this summer & spend four weeks … ...learning German (language and culture courses offered) ...attending academic seminars of your choice (taught in English) ...gaining credits (up to 9 ECTS) ...travelling in Germany and France for the ISU excursions ...getting to know yourself better and ...discovering the world!

•German course Learn German from scratch, or improve German skills already present in the intensive German language course •Seminars and Supplements Come to Marburg and learn and discuss with international students and instructors about hot topics •Excursions In Marburg, in Germany and beyond. Every year we take ISU students on organized field trips to Frankfurt, Strasbourg (France) and other locations. •Cultural program Movie program, lectures, visits, parties and more •Credits Earn up to 9 ECTS points that can be transferred to you home university, or college.
Setting Description:
Why Marburg? Located in the heart of Germany, Marburg an der Lahn is a small, lively and safe medieval town with a long university tradition. The university campus, the romantic and picturesque old city with its castle, cafés, pubs, boutiques, as well as movie theatres, museums and cathedrals are all within walking distance. You will find your way around quickly. Just within an hour train ride from Frankfurt, Marburg is very easy to reach and in case you want to explore Europe and Germany, it is a perfect starting point for your travels: either Amsterdam, Paris, or Berlin, it is a short train ride away. Is there time within the program for that? Depending on the individual schedule, one weekend is free!
Cost:
The program fee is EUR 1990, early bird due March 15th (save EUR 250).
