Program Description:

The Department of History and Geography offers broad fields of study as well as a vibrant and collegial academic community to its graduate students. The Master of Arts in history offers concentrations in four fields-European, Latin American, public, and United States history-as well as both thesis and non-thesis options. The Public History concentration also includes a hands-on internship and allows for an expanded public history project such as a museum exhibit, historic preservation plan, or oral history collection.
