- The University of Economics in Bratislava (UEBA), established in 1940, is considered to be one of the most important educational and scientific-research institutions in the Slovak Republic. The mission of the University, as part of the European Higher Education Area and the European Research Area, is – by the delivery of university education - to develop a harmonious personality, wisdom, goodness and creativity in human beings; to develop knowledge on the basis of creative scientific research in the fields of economics, social and human sciences, and so contribute to the development of a knowledge-based society. The main campus in Bratislava is a modern complex which meets all requirements that are necessary for teaching and research, as well as for catering, accommodation and physical activities of students. Lecture halls, classrooms, laboratories, computer rooms, special language classrooms, library, bookshops etc. are available.

The graduates obtain a complex education focused on various areas of commerce, qualifying them for managerial positions.

- Thanks to its rich history, you can enjoy the beautiful sights of various historical buildings located in the city center with many cafés, restaurants, clubs, museums, galleries and theatres or you can just take long walks along the Danube River. You can also enjoy the modern sides of Bratislava, represented by the many shopping centers and administrative buildings. Thanks to various cultural events and the many possibilities to spend your leisure time, it is the preferable destination where to spend your university studies. The convenient location of this city allows you also to visit the nearby Small Carpathians or you can travel to neighboring Austria or Hungary because Bratislava is located directly at the borders to these countries.
