- The University of Economics in Bratislava (UEBA), established in 1940, is considered to be one of the most important educational and scientific-research institutions in the Slovak Republic. The mission of the University, as part of the European Higher Education Area and the European Research Area, is – by the delivery of university education - to develop a harmonious personality, wisdom, goodness and creativity in human beings; to develop knowledge on the basis of creative scientific research in the fields of economics, social and human sciences, and so contribute to the development of a knowledge-based society. The main campus in Bratislava is a modern complex which meets all requirements that are necessary for teaching and research, as well as for catering, accommodation and physical activities of students. Lecture halls, classrooms, laboratories, computer rooms, special language classrooms, library, bookshops etc. are available.
International Finance (in English, 4 semesters) The graduate is capable to critically analyse context in international finance and global financial markets. She/he gains comprehensive knowledge of modern economic theories and modern financial theories. She/he is equipped with knowledge and skills in the use of advanced analytical techniques, methods of analysis and prognosis in international finance. There is the possibility to participate in the joint degree program with the Nottingham Trent University, UK.
Graduates are awarded a diploma of UEBA with the academic title “Engineer” (corresponding to Master of Science). Graduates who apply for the joint diploma are granted „Master of Science“ in International Finance by the Nottingham Trent University Business School.
