Program Description:
Founded in 1971, the Master of Science in Legal Administration (MSLA) degree at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law is designed for individuals interested in a career in the leadership, management and administration of courts, law firms, corporate legal departments, public law offices, and public and private legal agencies throughout the world. By blending studies of political science, business and management, and with exposure to legal culture, students in the MSLA program explore all aspects of managing and operating a law firm, court or legal organization. Whether you are a lawyer interested in opening and operating a small or large legal practice or if you are professional interested in managing a large legal entity, the MSLA program will provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to do this efficiently and effectively. The program offers a masters degree and certificates and in one of three concentrations: law firm administration, court administration or international court administration. Courses are offered both online and in-class for your convenience. The Sturm College of Law is an ABA accredited institution. Please contact the MSLA office for additional information.
