Among our distinctive assets: fully networked labs with frequent upgrades in hardware, specialized equipment and software; four Geographic Information Systems (GIS) labs which include most industry standard GIS software (All ESRI products, ERDAS Imagine, E-cognition, ENVI, Web Mapping and Geo-visualization products); USDA-approved soil and sediment lab, a weather and climate lab and the Hoyt Mineral Collection; multimedia teaching classrooms; national and international field trips; and the Mount Evans field station (elevation 10,600 feet), is just 45 minutes from campus.
