Program Overview

Program Description:
Graduate studies in engineering management provide you with the analytical tools and management skills needed to plan, design, optimize and direct complex programs, processes and systems. Graduate studies in management science teach you how to apply the quantitative techniques and tools of operations research, systems analysis and decision sciences to solve problems in business, industry and government. Graduates from both programs are able to quantify, model, analyze and simulate any situation to make the tough decisions required of leaders in the field. These degree programs provide the rigorous educational foundation that underlies many current management initiatives in business and government communities, including Six Sigma quality, robust engineering and lean manufacturing. The programs are designed to allow most students who are working full-time the ability to take two courses per semester and graduate within three years. All classes are simulcast, allowing students to take courses on campus or from anywhere in the world via Internet. Classes are also recorded for future viewing. Certified programs in Six Sigma and Systems Engineering are also available.
