Program Description:
The University of Dallas is recognized as a degree-granting institution by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. The University of Dallas MBA in Accounting is designed for three groups of managers: 1. The non-accountant manager who is challenged with accounting issues - this MBA concentration provides a strong core of management knowledge and tools complemented by an in depth background in accounting principles and skills. 2. The CPA, who already possesses the technical skills of accounting, but desires to expand his or her managerial skills and add additional areas of accounting knowledge. 3. Managers who intend to eventually take the CPA exam. This concentration can provide added value through the accounting coursework earned while completing the MBA degree.
