Program Overview
- Program Description:
- Courses focus on a comparison of the laws of the United States and the United Kingdom and/or the European Union. To orient students on Scottish laws and institutions, the program includes field trips to trial and appellate courts, and to a prison. Speakers include judges, advocates, professors, and government officials.

The program is ABA approved and is co-sponsored by the University of Baltimore and the University of Maryland and hosted by the University of Aberdeen.
- Setting Description:
- The University of Aberdeen enjoys a rich heritage and a superb setting. The university dates from 1495 with the founding of King's College. The modern city of Aberdeen offers outstanding cultural institutions, a North Sea beach, beautiful parks, and numerous sports facilities.
