Our exchange affiliation with HAN University of Applied Sciences enables students to study at a Dutch university that stands out for its practical approach. This option is intended for U.S. students interested pursing in-depth hands-on study select subjects areas.

Albany hosts a general orientation session on campus during the semester prior to participation on the program. The program at HAN begins with a orientation program designed to introduce students to the basics of daily life in the Netherlands. UAlbany staff is available throughout the year to assist students and their parents. The international office staff at both the Nijmegen and Arnhem campuses serve as an experienced resource for solving problems for students while overseas.

HAN University is situated in the east of the Netherlands, on two distinct campuses (Arnhem and Nijmegen) about 1.5 hours drive from Amsterdam.
