Program Description:

60 hours of lessons in the Ukrainian language 15 hours of individual tutoring, one-to-one 15 hours of interactive classes or guest speakers 45 hours of cultural program

An intensive 2-3 week program of the Ukrainian Language & Culture “UKRAINIAN SPRING” at the Ukrainian Catholic University is an unique combination of intensive language study and cultural immersion. Participants become fully immersed in the language and culture in the the most Ukrainian-speaking city in the country. This is a wonderful way to combine vacation and study!

UNIVERSITY CREDITS Students may obtain between 4-6 ECTS points for the session upon course completion and passing the final exam. Each participant will obtain a certificate of participation in the course, and those who pass the final exam will earn a grade report with an ECTS points allocation

Setting Description:

ACADEMIC PROGRAM The academic program caters to students of all levels - from beginner to advanced. Participants develop and practice all the language skills, i.e. speaking, reading, listening and writing. They acquire and master grammar and new vocabulary. The language course is always adapted to the needs of the participants and their language level which is determined on the first course day based on the placement test they write. TUTORING WITH NATIVE SPEAKERS Each day students have tutoring with native speakers who also accompany them during their evening activities and excursions. This is part of a full-time Ukrainian immersion program for the Ukrainian language-learners. INTERACTIVE CLASSES OR GUEST SPEAKERS During the program we arrange several meetings with famous people (historians, politicians, businessmen, artists).
