Program Description:

Twin's Career Development Programme provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and obtain the EDEXCEL BTEC Level 3 Workskills Award or Certificate. The programme is available to be undertaken for either 9, 15 or 24 weeks, and the duration determines whether the Award or Certificate is awarded.

The Career Development Programme involves classroom study and practical work experience for students with an intermediate level of English, and allows them to gain the EDEXCEL BTEC Level 3 Workskills Certificate. Our advisers can source placements in a variety of environments, from marketing and sales to hospitality.

Upon completion, students will get - an EDEXCEL BTEC Level 3 Certificate or Award in Work Skills - Certificate of Attendance There is also the option of receiving the Cambridge IELTS certificate.

Setting Description:

The Career Development Programme is available at Twin's London and Eastbourne schools. Students will study 15 hours per week both theoretical and practical modules. Students will learn essential skills such as how to improve their skills for job interviews, will learn negotiation and persuasion skills, critical thinking and how to solve related problems, mentoring skills and other work-related skills. Students also have to do an internship programme in order to gain valuable work experience. The internships offered are in various business sectors ranging from sales and marketing to finance, IT or HR.
