Program Description:

Tropical Adventures is a non-profit agency providing volunteer opportunities throughout Costa Rica. Each of our programs offers participants the opportunity to experience the culture and spirit of Costa Rica by living and working with the local people and personally contributing to the much-needed community development efforts. Projects include teaching Art & Music, wildlife conservation (including work with sea-turtles and injured animals), community development work, indigenous projects and work in a retirement home as well as special holiday projects at Christmastime and Summer.

We are a US non-profit organization based in Costa Rica, offering volunteer tour packages for individual travelers, families and groups interested in exploring the culture, contributing to the communities, learning the language and discovering the natural beauty of Costa Rica. Each of our programs offers participants the opportunity to experience the culture and spirit of Costa Rica by living and working with the local people and personally contributing to the much-needed community development efforts.

Setting Description:

Volunteer at the beach, in one of our breathtaking National Parks, the beautiful Talamanca area, or exotic Guanacaste. Join some of our fun projects with local kids, teach Art & Music, work in the daycare center with small children, help out on the indigenous reservation or get wild with one of our environmental or animal projects.
