Program Overview

Program Description:

Volunteers are needed to help park officials with the daily running of the parks. Volunteer work may include erosion control, weeding and planting, help at visitor centers and general maintenance or with animals and research projects at certain locations such as our Ostional Sea Turtle Conservation project.

Volunteer in some of Costa Rica's spectacular National Parks while getting time to enjoy a number of tours, adventure activities.

Tropical Adventures is the only agency in the world with a contract and permission from the government to bring volunteers into the parks. Costa Rica is such a beautiful place and the National Parks are spectacular.

Setting Description:

Volunteers are required at National Parks throughout the country (not all of them are on our website yet, so don't hesitate to ask questions!) Volunteers will stay in a volunteer lodge in the park or with a host family.
