- Program Description:
- The Change Institute is an interactive, intentional, and comprehensive global leadership training and travel program for youth. Youth are trained in international trade, local and national economics, cultural heritage, and intercultural competency. All training occurs in Greensboro, NC with the adult leaders. All trainings are experiential and engaging.
While abroad, youth ambassadors visit international organizations, such as the United Nations, Ministry of Education, and UNICEF to name a few. They also experience fun activities like snorkeling, dance, hiking, and visual arts.
The ambassadors practice what it means to be a responsible citizen by giving back to each country or location. This may range from completing research for an organization abroad before traveling or by completing service –learning hours in country.

The ambassadors will present suggestions to Green Business Barbados on how to suggest sustainable and “green” practices to tourists.

- Costs for the program are determined by the international location and number of participants attending each trip. The program is administered by staff of Social Designs. Social Designs works hard to provide affordable prices for participants of all programs.
