Program Description:

Our unique 3-week program will offer you many great opportunities. 15 Hours of in-class teaching with highly qualified and experienced teachers will teach you the basics of Mandarin Chinese and, more importantly, prepare you for the 15 hours of activities. These activities have been planned and prepared to not only give you every opportunity to practice your new language skills, but to explore Taipei and truly immerse yourself in this beautiful city and country!

Every week: * 15 hours in-class teaching * 15 hours of activities * 30+ Chinese characters * 150 vocabulary words * 2+ grammar patterns * language exchange with other foreigners and locals * practice your new skills in real-life situations * explore Taipei while you learn and practice!

Setting Description:

TLI is located in Taipei, the capital city of Taiwan. You will have your own apartment in the Guting area, walking distance from TLI, many shops, Western and local restaurants as well as the Shida night market. The area is known for its young vibe with students from one of the many universities in the area hanging out or living here.
