Program Description:

Brussels is not just the world’s capital of chocolate, beer and the hub of the world’s cheapest airline! It is not just the city between London and Paris or Amsterdam and Cologne! It is not even just where the headquarters of the European Union, NATO and a number of UN agencies are based. It is truly the world’s top diplomatic city with more than 200 embassies, hundreds of think tanks, PR firms and consultancies, 1000 foreign correspondents, 3000 international organizations and more than 10,000 lobbyists based in the city. A city that more than half of its population come from all over the world, that offers a wide variety of multicultural events and venues to serve 
this population, while maintaining one of the lowest crime rates in Europe.
Public diplomacy, journalism, and public relations students will pursue a seven-week internship within intergovernmental institutions, international NGOs, journalism organizations, lobbying offices, or think tanks in Brussels. In addition, students will participate in weekly seminars with guest lectures by key European and international officials.
