Program Description:

There will be a number of organized tours in Rome: examples include the famous Scavi excavation under St Peter's Basilica, the Roman Forum, and the catacombs. Whether you want to stay in Rome or explore other parts of Italy and Europe, ILS offers you a goldmine of opportunities. If you want to learn more about the Pope or the Church while in Rome, you will not be let down. ILS will help you get tickets to Papal audiences, events, & Masses. There are Churches on every corner of Rome, so you can explore, visit, and learn a great deal about Church history. The International Leadership Semester is a an 89-day study abroad program within the European University of Rome based in Rome, Italy. Along with the academic component, the International Leadership Semester offers a uniquely personalized approach to leadership training, one that is not available in other study abroad programs. Students will discover that leadership is often more about who you are than what you do. Our students learn how to develop good habits early to truly become impactful leaders in the 21st century, to create a balance to both manage the bottom line and effectively manage teams and leverage the international experience they will get from studying abroad to set themselves up for success long term.

Our program offers unique benefits and a uniquely personalized approach to leadership training, with one on one coaching that is not available in other study abroad programs. Students will have access to industry speakers and cultural visits, and will lead a team during their final project to help provide real world context that compliments the curriculum. Setting Description:

The International Leadership Semester is an undergraduate program of the Swiss School of Management (SSM). The SSM serves as the international studies department of the European University of Rome and collaborates with international universities and research institutions for the Study Abroad ILS program. It is an international study abroad program that hosts students from around the world. Most people come to Rome for a handful of reasons.
