Program Description:
The University of Waikato is set on a stunning 65 hectare campus in Hamilton, New Zealand’s fourth largest city. We also have a satellite campus in Tauranga. International students from more than 70 countries make up around 20% of the 12,500 student population at Waikato

If you have completed a qualification at the University of Waikato, but you do not have a job offer, you may be eligible for a visa which allows you to work in New Zealand for a maximum of 12 months.
Setting Description:
The University of Waikato has campus’ in Hamilton, Waikato and Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. Students will find a relaxed and supportive study environment at the University of Waikato. With modern facilities and sporting and cultural clubs on campus, the university offers great study and student support.
Cost:
Tuition fees are affordable plus option to pay at domestic rates for eligible international PhD students. At the University of Waikato, there are scholarships specifically for international students.
