- We offer our students programs that are focused on intense, cultural immersion which puts them in touch with the locals of their host country, elements of the host culture, and other international students from around the world to ensure a well-rounded, diverse experience.
Our Semester Free Elective program at Florence University of the Arts is created for students wishing to design their own curriculum from a broad selection of courses. Semester students may select five courses, of 2 or 3 credits each, for a maximum of 15 semester credits. Italian language is required for Free Elective students, though there is no language prerequisite. All courses are taught in English and internships are NOT available to Free-Elective program students.
Program cost includes the following items: enrollment (including application, course selection and credit transfer), housing, student health insurance and meal plans. Students attending Apicius can receive US credits from USF in Florida, or an Italian transcript directly from Apicius.
