Program Description:

Take intensive Spanish classes, electives or Classes with Locals in Oaxaca City, Mexico while living with a host family and taking in all that the people and unique culture of southern Mexico have to offer! This is the ideal program for students interested in Spanish immersion in a city with very few foreign students.

Learn Spanish in the fascinating colonial city of Oaxaca, Mexico while studying at the University of Oaxaca or the Mesoamericana, both located in the historic center of Oaxaca which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Setting Description:

Our program is located in Oaxaca City, Mexico, a colonial city with hip cafes, art galleries and a live music scene. Experience the colonial charms of this highland city surrounded by lush mountains and indigenous villages. Oaxaca is one of the most unique cities in Mexico. It is an ideal location for language immersion and exploring the pre-Hispanic past of the area.
