Program Description:
The Scuola Conte Ruggiero was founded on 1984 as one of the first language schools in South-Italy. It is well known for its hospitality and familiarity. The school is located in a huge area of land, a big orange grove with cultivation of citrus fruits. A perfect surrounding for successful learning staying in contact with the nature. You can reach the school in a few minute walk from the central place of Santa Domenica. There are not only spacious and friendly classrooms but also “open air” classrooms outside. Accordingly to the weather conditions courses are held outside under the trees.

The courses are recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education and guaranties high standards of quality. Our school Conte Ruggiero was started in 1984, accredited by the ministry of public instruction. We provide courses for all levels, from Absolute Beginner to Advanced (A1 – A2 – B1 – B2 – C1 – C2), according to the CEFR, the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. You can choose among our courses the one most up to you: standard course, intensive course, one to one lessons, business Italian and much more. Who likes the Mediterranean cuisine can choose one of our cooking courses.
Setting Description:
The school is located in Calabria, in the South-Italy, near to the sea. Enjoy the nature and the clear water! There is a fantastic view on the Eolian Islands of Sicily with its vulcan "Stromboli" - the onliest active vulcan of Europe.
