In Russia, these elements have combined to produce one of the world's most extensive museum systems, well-known for impressive collections, thematic versatility, multiplicity of display modes, and sheer number of institutions. With private and public support, many of Russia's museums are modernizing and new museums are being established. Russians have supported this as some of the world's most avid museum enthusiasts.
This program is for students of museum science/studies or museum management and those who want to understand the Russian museum phenomenon through a behind-the-scenes approach. This program is for students looking to understand how cultural and historical heritage can be best preserved and transmitted.

- St. Petersburg is Russia's cultural capital. For students interested in the arts or literature, studying in St. Petersburg is an easy choice. You’ll be surrounded by beauty and culture: canals that weave through the city’s impressive mix of architectural styles, the largest art collection in the world at the Hermitage, respected conservatories and theatres, the settings and inspiration for countless Russian literary classics, and some of the most cutting-edge music clubs in Europe.
