- The Onaris Ona programme was especially created for students and recent graduates who are looking for a structured programme to enhance their skill set. They will be gaining real world experience in a challenging, but fun environment whilst also giving back and helping a community in need.
This programme is much more tailored to helping you achieve credits towards your degree. We also help to facilitate research projects for those on post-graduate degrees.

Salvonaris Africa are the expert providers of volunteer experiences in Africa. We operate only in Africa, so we know the local area and all the host organisations inside out. As a not for profit community interest company, our goal is to provide high impact, high quality and ethical placements.
- Setting Description:
- Social work covers a broad spectrum in Africa and whatever field you are studying we can place you in an organisation that suits your needs. You'll be on the ground, at the heart of the community and helping the most vulnerable members of society. We work with organisations that specialise in families, children, the disabled, the elderly, prostitution, those affected by HIV/Aids or drug and alcohol addictions. These organisations need interns with an open mind, who are willing to help others without judging them. If this sounds like you then you could just the type we're looking for. Requirements:Those studying Health and Social Care/Social Work/Global policy or similar disciplines and are on a placement year or have recently graduated.
- Cost:
- Minimum stay is one month. Program fee is £699. The Onaris Ona programme fee includes: Accommodation, Breakfast Lunch and Dinner, Safe bottled drinking water, Airport transfers, In country orientation and support, Travel to and from the host organisation (in the local vicinity) What you’ll need to budget for: Flights, Visa, Travel Vaccinations, Spending money, Travel Insurance
