Program Description:

The MSN curriculum is intended to foster an increased sense of professionalism while focusing on nursing theory, research and technologies, evidence-based practice, safety and quality improvement, as well as policy and issues that are presenting in the health care industry today. Courses are designed to prepare professional nurses for leadership in administration or education in a variety of settings, and to practice in a complex and dynamic health care environment. The program builds on six (6) Core courses that are complemented by four (4) specialization courses. All students must complete a specialization either in Nursing Administration or Nursing Education. Nursing Education focuses on the needs of nurses who aim to become nursing professors.
