Program Description:

SAI invites you to experience cutting-edge design at the Elisava Barcelona School for Design and Engineering!

Elisava is located in the historical center of Barcelona, just a few blocks from the Mediterranean Sea. La Rambla, the Gothic Quarter, Gaudi’s emblematic works and many of the city’s famous sights are within walking distance of Elisava. Over the past fifty years the school's pioneering instructional techniques has offered students the opportunity to immerse themselves in an inter-disciplinary approach to design.  Elisava's programs are designed to prepare students for the professional world and work to promote close collaboration with companies, institutions and universities around the world.

SAI students at Elisava immerse themselves in a dynamic and cosmopolitan learning environment populated by scholars and instructors from around the world, while enjoying SAI’s famous student services, including excursions, activities, and a dedicated onsite support staff.

SAI oversees and coordinates all aspects of student enrollment, including application processing, course selection and credit, visa advising, housing, student health insurance, transcripts and cell phone service. In addition, SAI provides comprehensive student services, beginning with pre-departure and leading to our on-site orientation.

Setting Description:

Elisava is located in the historical center of Barcelona, just a few blocks from the Mediterranean Sea. La Rambla, the Gothic Quarter, Gaudi’s iconic works of architecture, and many of the city’s most famous sights are within walking distance of Elisava. Barcelona also enjoys excellent public transportation, which makes all areas of the city easily accessible.
