SAI invites students to study hospitality study in one of Europe’s most welcoming cities: Barcelona!
SAI’s academic partner, CETT, is an international campus affiliated with the Universitat de Barcelona which is dedicated to education and research. Over the past 40 years, CETT Barcelona has become the international gold-standard for academic excellence in the fields of Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy. SAI students studying abroad at CETT join a vibrant student community, with ample occasions to engage in campus activities. Semester programs allow students to study Hospitality, Tourism, and Gastronomy and to earn up to 15 credits per term.
In addition to supporting students throughout their stay in Barcelona, SAI also coordinates a range of activities and excursions throughout the term, including a weekend trip to Seville, cooking classes, a Flamenco dance demonstration, a Barcelona scavenger hunt, and many others. Students also have access to SAI’s network of partner organizations, allowing them to take part in volunteer activities, as well as language exchange opportunities with local students and families.
SAI students in Barcelona experience the overlapping cultural currents which flow through Barcelona; from its origins as an ancient Mediterranean settlement, to its unique status as the modern capital of Catalonia. Visiting students immerse themselves in the dynamic entity which is Barcelona and examine the influences which impact this remarkable community, from the local to the global.
