- SAI offers two Academic Internship options in Florence: - Option 1: Full Time Internship: 12 weeks/ 15 credits; Available Fall, Spring or Summer Semester - Option 2: Part Time Internship that includes 12 credits of academic course work at Florence University of the Arts + a 3 credit Internship. 15 weeks. (US credits included). Available Fall and Spring Semesters only. Students choosing this option, will enroll in one internship (3 credits) PLUS four academic courses at Florence University of the Arts (12 credits) for a total of 15 weeks. Students must first apply to a semester program, checking the internship box on the application and will then receive a supplementary internship application to complete. Internships are offered in the following areas: Advertising and Marketing Art (Portfolio Required) Art Restoration Architecture (Portfolio Required) Business Communications Culinary Event Planning/Public Relations Fashion Business (Spring/Summer) Fashion Design (Portfolio Required) Graphic Design (Portfolio Required) Hospitality Interior Design (Portfolio Required) Journalism (Portfolio Required) Multimedia and Video (Portfolio Required) Photography (Portfolio Required) Social Services, Law (Advanced Italian) Travel/Tourism Video Production/Editing (Portfolio Required) Web Design Florence University of the Arts (FUA) presents a contemporary and thorough approach to education and the arts. With small classes taught by international faculty, every course aims to enhance the social, intercultural and professional experiences of students. FUA combines innovative curriculum and collaborative teaching methods to create a unique university experience abroad. Program fee includes the following: tuition (number of credits depends upon program taken), on-site orientation, personal cell phone, dedicated on-site Program, housing, HTH Worldwide Student Health Insurance.
