Duration: 2 weeks (June 20 to July 1, 2022)

In this Summer School, you explore innovative supply chain management concepts: Master the fundamentals of supply chain management and apply them in a business simulation game. Study the digitalization of supply chains and its potentials in theoretical as well as game-based lectures. In a case study with real but fun examples, you become aware of the important challenges.

Setting Description:
The Summer School is jointly conducted by the Institute for Industrial Management (FIR) at RWTH Aachen University and a visiting scholar and supply chain management expert from the Netherlands.
Cost:
1990 EUR. The programme fees contain an "all-inclusive" package: ✓Lectures ✓Course materials ✓Institute, lab and company visits ✓ City excursions and social events ✓Accommodation (usually two- to four-bed rooms) ✓Breakfast and lunch on weekdays ✓Snacks or meals during selected social events ✓A local public transportation ticket for the respective time in Aachen ✓Our RWTH International Academy app Early Bird Discount: apply until 1 March to get a 10% discount on the total fees - in case of admission

Requirements:
? BSc/BE students enrolled at a renowned university ? Studying mechanical engineering or a related field ? Minimum age to participate is 18 ? Minimum English language proficiency required Please note: Interested students should be studying mechanical engineering and show strong interests in mathematics. Moreover, they should have acquired basic skills in mechanics, materials science, thermodynamics, computer science/programming techniques, machine drawing / machine elements and modelling. We don’t require an English language proficiency test. However, we recommend a self-evaluation of your English language level according to one of the following scores to make sure that you are able to follow the lessons: TOEFL ibt : 72 points IELTS: 5.5 band score TOEIC: 785 points Cambridge: FCE, Grade C CEFR = B2
