Duration: 4 weeks (June 14 to July 9, 2021)

The Online Course is all about modern automotive technologies. It covers the fundamentals of automotive engineering and mobile propulsion and explores modern automotive technologies, such as alternative and electrified vehicle propulsion systems and automated driving including a case study. You even get to meet a student formula team that presents their work on self-built race cars to you.

Setting Description:
The Institute for Automotive Engineering (ika) and the Institute for Combustion Engines (VKA) conduct the academic content. Research areas include innovative concepts for components and systems, vehicle prototypes, the development of innovative components, controls and system concepts in traction and automotive technologies, and combustion engines.

Requirements:
You are a B.Sc./B.E. student enrolled at a renowned university, have profound knowledge of the English language and are studying mechanical engineering or a related field. Desirable is the completion of the first year and basic knowledge in the following areas: Mathematics, Mechanics, Physics, Fluids, Energy Conversion Machines, Thermodynamics, Automotive Engineering. The minimum age to participate is 18 years. Students should have completed the first year of studies.
