Program Description:
The University of Auckland opened its doors in 1883 as Auckland University College with 95 students and 4 faculty members. It has since grown into New Zealand’s largest university and consistently makes the list of the world’s top universities.  With over 125 majors and a vibrant campus life the University of Auckland is sure to cover the interests of most students and possibly spark a few new interests along the way.

Activities include sailing, kayaking and snorkeling. • Take classes that are specific to New Zealand and Austronesian populations. Classes are available in Togan, M¬aori Studies and Cook Islands M¬aori"

Setting Description:
Auckland, the “City of Sails,” and the capital of New Zealand is surrounded by docks and beaches. It located on the North Island of New Zealand. The center of the city lies right between the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean. It is the largest and most cosmopolitan city in New Zealand and the country’s center for culture and sport.
