Analytics and Insights Certificates

On Campus or Online

Rockhurst University’s Helzberg School of Management offers Analytics and Insights certificates both on campus and online. Students choose from three tracks to support their career path:

    Data science
    Business intelligence
    Health analytics

Data Science: Why Analytics and Insights?

The need for qualified professionals who can understand, create, monitor and evaluate data analytics is high and growing rapidly. At one time a McKinsey Institute analysis predicted there would be a shortfall of 140,000 to 190,000 candidates with deep analytical talent, plus a need for an additional 1.5 million data-savvy managers by 2018.

Analytics and Insights Certificate Program

Whether online or on campus, students take six eight-week courses to complete the program. On-campus classes meet one evening per each of the eight weeks. Online classes feature video lectures and weekly assignments. Students have the option to take courses 100% online, to take a mixture of on-campus and online courses or to take all courses on Rockhurst's Kansas City campus. If students take one course per eight-week session, they will complete the Analytics and Insights Certificate in about 15 months. Additional prerequisite coursework may be required.

Experienced Faculty

Gaining experience starts with experienced faculty. Here, you’ll learn from doctoral-level, full-time professors from the AACSB-accredited Helzberg School of Management, along with practicing experts.

Points of Entry

With five points of entry, students may begin a certificate program in early January, mid-March, late-May, mid-August or mid-October.
