- Program Description:
- This programme aims to provide graduates with the opportunity to develop professional knowledge, understanding, skills and values to become teachers, tutors and/or trainers in the lifelong learning sector (post-16 education and training). This programme is suitable for applicants wishing to teach in further education colleges, adult and community education, work-based training providers, offender learning and public sector organisations. The University will arrange an appropriate teaching placement and a subject specialist mentor. This will include teaching observations by tutors and mentors. Programme content The programme consists of three core modules: • Learning, teaching and assessment • Curriculum and society • Wider practice and professional development Plus one enhancement module.
