Program Description:

Paris College of Artdraws students from around the world. The spontaneous cultural diversity this engenders complements the program and fosters a critical sensitivity toward the globalization of visual culture and its impact on respective art and design fields. Paris College of Art's multicultural environment nurtures artistic practice as well as individual growth. Study Abroad Visiting students have the opportunity to take classes from all the departmental offerings: Fashion, FIne Arts, Illustration, Communication Design, Photography, and Design and Management, as well as Liberal Arts, Art History and Language classes.

The Paris College of Art Visiting Student Program provides an extraordinary study abroad option for college sophomores and juniors, or those with an undergraduate degree. Studying at Paris College of Art is a uniquely rich experience for young artists and designers who share a semester, year, or summer with students from over forty different countries in Paris, at the crossroads of Europe. Through an international faculty of working professionals, the school maintains close ties with the Parisian art and design culture. Setting Description:

While the larger campus is certainly Paris itself, the facilities of Paris College of Art with its museums and historical sites, are ideally suited for the creative endeavors proposed in the classroom. In Fall 2013 Paris College of Art opens a new 2550 m2 campus in the 10th arrondisement of Paris, the state of the art PCA Design Center. The historical Paris College of Art building on rue Letellier with its sky-lit studios used for drawing, painting and sculpture surrounding a central courtyard becomes PCA Studios.
