Program Description:

Do you have a passion for travel that you want to share with others? Have you looked at international programs and wondered how you could get a job working for one?

This comprehensive program provides you with the skills, knowledge, and experience to run inspiring programs abroad. You will get a 'behind the curtain' look at our company's instructor training with an opportunity to put those skills to practice on an overland journey through Southeast Asia.

A fast-paced, immersive, and experiential model, you will leave the program ready to make your dream job a reality.

You will leave the course with:

    • The confidence, knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to gain employment leading groups internationally or to take your own students abroad if you are already an educator or higher education professional.
    • Firsthand experience in cultural immersion and environmental education.
    • A personal philosophy of service.
    • Thorough training in safety management with an optional Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification extension.
    • Specific skills to design, implement, and facilitate transformative education abroad.
    • A detailed evaluation of you as an instructor, which you could share with future employers.
    • A course graduation certificate.
Setting Description:
Southeast Asia is a fascinating melting pot of history, peoples, cultures and landscapes ideally suited to an adventure/education experience. Contrast scuba diving tropical reefs with riding elephants in the jungle; Modern cities and lifestyles with Buddhist monks practicing centuries old traditions; Ancient temples with tropical beaches; The hustle bustle of Vietnam with the laid back ambiance of Laos; Climbing Gothic rock spires with rafting through jungle shrouded canyons.

Course learning is aimed at a post graduate level but entry to the course is not restricted to university grads, ideally 21-35 years.
