Program Overview

Program Description:
The course is designed for those already attending college, as well as for able high school juniors and seniors, and offers an exciting range of social and cultural activities alongside an in-depth and challenging educational experience. Students gain a unique perspective, together with a real taste of life as an Oxford undergraduate and the opportunity to add genuine distinction to their transcript.

Two or three subjects are selected from a wide choice of liberal arts, science, business and history courses; students being taught in a stimulating mix of group seminars and one-on-one tutorials. Course tutors are all British University graduates and experienced teachers, chosen for their communicative skills and familiarity with the needs of international students.

The program is designed to permit the student a rich cultural and social experience, while at the same time being intellectually challenging and academically relevant. Full reports are prepared at the end of each course, and transcripts and recommendations for credit can be sent to the home institution.
Setting Description:
The program is based at Frewin Court, Brasenose College, Oxford, just five minutes walk from the center of the vibrant and ancient city of Oxford, approximately one hour north-west of London. Each student has a comfortable single study bedroom, normally home to an Oxford undergraduate during term-time.
