Program Overview

Program Description:
The Oxford Prep Experience is a four-week academic summer program for students currently in grades 8-9 held in Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, England from July 2nd- July 28th. Students choose two from a selection of twenty-four courses available, as diverse as Creative Writing, History’s Secrets, Psychology, and Speech and Debate.

The international faculty includes Rhodes and Marshall Scholars, as well as creative professionals – actors, artists, photographers, and writers – from London and elsewhere. Together with program administrators, including Program Deans and Activities Directors, students enjoy a daily schedule that combines intellectual and curricular adventure, cultural enrichment, guest speakers, field trips, activities and sports – all in a safe, supervised environment.

At Oxford, our students have the opportunity to learn from, and with, some of the finest teachers in the world. All devoted and accomplished scholars in their chosen fields, our instructors share in our students' passion for their subjects, and challenge them in ways never before experienced.
Setting Description:
The Oxford Prep Experience is based in Corpus Christi College in Oxford, located on a quiet, cobblestone lane in the medieval heart of the city. Founded in 1517, Corpus Christi has a long tradition of academic distinction. In the 17th century, College President John Rainolds led the scholars who produced the King James Bible, arguably the most important book ever written in English.
Cost:
The program costs $7995 USD. This cost includes transportation to and from the airport, tuition, room and board, two meals a day, transportation to and from activities/field trips and the cost of tickets pertaining to the set activities. The cost does not include airfare, lunch and personal spending money.
