Program Description:
Volunteer Program Description You’ll work side-by-side with locals on dynamic inspiring community-led initiatives. These organizations are carefully screened, selected and monitored over time to ensure our volunteers can serve their goals effectively. Our organizations include orphanages and childcare centers, schools, health clinics and hospitals, homes for elderly, center for people with disabilities, and other community organizations. As a volunteer, you may work with kids, adults, or people with disabilities; teaching, providing care or offering companionship. But regardless of your specific placement, you can be sure that your work is always structured to be meaningful, and have a positive impact in the community.

Volunteer placements are always designed to serve the organizations’ goals, but carefully structured to also match the skills, interests, and experience of the volunteers. You may choose between one of the following placement types. Caring for Infants & Children Caring for the Elderly Caring for People with Disabilities Teaching Children Teaching Conversational English Assisting Teachers of Special Education Observing & Assisting Local Health Professionals Working with People Affected by HIV/AIDS Working towards Women’s Empowerment Sharing your Professional Skills & Experience
