Program Description:
The Alliance Graduate School of Counseling offers a 66-credit Master of Arts degree. The M.A. program is designed to academically prepare students for the role of a professional counselor able to work effectively in private practice, within clinics, and with local evangelical churches. Upon completion of the program, candidates for the Master of Arts Counseling degree are expected to have acquired a strong academic course of study which is Biblically based; attained a high level of knowledge regarding basic counseling skills commensurate with the degree offered; and to have acquired a working understanding of personal ethics and values essential for the practice of effective counseling.
