Description:

Argentine Foundation that supports homeless and socially disadvantaged people to integrate themselves into the society

The volunteer will participate in the main activities of the foundation: During a night tour (twice a week from 21:00), the volunteer will walk though the city center of Cordoba (Plaza San Martín and pedestrian) and provide food, blankets, clothing and medicines to needy people.
On the remaining days of the week he/she will attend the following activities:

  • Manage and organize donations of used clothing
  • Cooking
  • Groceries
  • Meetings with other NGOs
  • Organization of events (traditional music event in October, dinner and handing out toys to children)

In these programs you can look into the usual routine of a working day in an organization and acquire practical skills. This volunteering gives you a unique opportunity to develop yourself and to gain a lot of new opinions about life, the environment and human beings. You can support those who need help and contribute to a better society.

Requirements:

Studies and practical experience: You can participate in a volunteering without any theoretical or practical knowledge. Of course, if you have gained already some experience or knowledge we will gladly take this qualification into consideration when organizing your project position.

Spanish skills: You can also register for our volunteering without any previous Spanish knowledge. However, an appropriate level of skills is necessary in order to be successfully integrated into the Argentine company and society. With our Spanish courses on site we prepare you for your volunteering in the shortest time possible.

Minimum Age: 18 years

Maximum Age: No age limit, globetrotter young-at-heart are more than welcome!

Nationality: Our programs are available to all nationalities.

Founded in 2004, NICE (Network for Intercultural Experiences) dedicates itself to educational and cultural exchange. We provide internships, volunteering projects, and Spanish courses for foreigners in Argentina who are seeking to discover, live and learn in this South American country.
