Program Overview
- Program Description:
- The NYU Washington DC academic center provides a base for faculty research, undergraduate and graduate education, and internships. Students will pursue concentrated study and research in an array of subjects, from public policy to political science to art history. The student experience will be enhanced by access to Washington’s distinctive intellectual, political, and cultural life. Up to 150 students will study under the guidance of world-class faculty each semester, pairing course work with internships offered by the wealth of nonprofits, government agencies, and corporations that are headquartered here.

The academic center features classrooms, residences, a computer lab, meeting spaces, and offices as well as a 200-seat auditorium and an expansive lobby that will double as a student lounge and a venue for public events.
Need- and merit-based scholarships are available.
- Setting Description:
- No global network would be complete without a center in Washington, DC, home to 174 embassies, headquarters of international policy-making bodies, and seat of the US federal government. The NYU Office of Government Relations and Community Affairs and the NYU Brademas Center for the Study of Congress will also have offices and host events at NYU Washington DC.
