- For over three decades, New York University has brought American undergraduates to Britain for summer study. Drawing students from colleges throughout the United States as well as from New York City, NYU Summer in England provides a rich educational experience in a city that is a historic center for artistic and literary achievement.
NYU Summer programs in England offers courses in British literature, politics, art, architecture, drama, and urban design. Through class instruction, field trips, guest speakers, workshops, and excursions, students have the opportunity to live and learn in London or Oxford this summer. Programs include: Drama in Education, Modern British Drama in London, Literacy Teaching and Learning, British Literature, Contemporary British Politics, Urban Design in London, and The Arts of London.

- Many classes are held at the NYU center in Bedford Square. This Bloomsbury location--a stone's throw from the British Museum and within walking distance of nearly everything else in central London--offers students in all disciplines the opportunity for immersion in the British academic world as well as in the vibrant culture of London. The program in Oxford is located at Christ Church College.
