Program Description:

Each program offers a unique opportunity to experience Italy, its piazzas, palaces, churches, and museums, while gaining valuable educational knowledge.

NYU offers a variety of programs throughout Italy focusing on Italian language studies, cinema, literature, history, culture, nutrition, and studio arts. Through class instruction, field trips, guest speakers, workshops, and excursions, students have the opportunity to live and study in Florence, Tuscany, or Venice. Programs include Intensive Italian; Italian Cuisine; From Commune to City State: Tuscany; Studio Art; Commedia dell’Arte: The Actor as Creator, Clown, and Poet.

Programs in Florence are offered at a historic Florentine residence on the 57-acre estate La Pietra.
