- Program Description:
- NYU Madrid offers courses in the liberal arts and social sciences that focus on the Hispanic world. Courses taught in English are available to students at the elementary and intermediate Spanish skill level. The Fast Track Spanish for Beginners program is available for students who wish to become proficient in a single semester. Advanced and proficient language students may takes courses taught in Spanish at the NYU center as well as at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid during the spring semester.

- Setting Description:
- NYU Madrid is situated in the pleasant neighborhood of El Viso, just a few metro stops from the city center. It contains classrooms, a computer lab, and a charming patio where students enjoy the sunny and mild weather. NYU staff members plan trips throughout the semester that may take students to Granada, Segovia, Toledo, and Portugal. Residences include shared furnished apartments or in homestays with local families.
