Program Description:
Music Theater Bavaria provides a unique, month-long summer training and performance program in Germany for college and graduate students of opera and musical theater. It combines intensive professional training for singers/actors/dancers with performance opportunities, German language and cultural instruction and career information.

Classes with an excellent international faculty include 2 private voice lessons and 2 private repertoire coaching sessions per week, dance, movement, acting, song/aria presentation, audition preparation, advice on careers in the U.S. and Europe, conversational German, German singing diction, master classes with guest artists, and more.

MTB offers students the tools they need to become internationally competitive performers. The focus is on advanced professional training that will make the maximum impact on performance and audition readiness in a one month period. A low student/faculty ratio assures each student a great amount of personal attention.
Setting Description:
The MTB program is located in Oberaudorf, Germany, a beautiful village in the Alps southeast of Munich, near the border with Austria. Students have easy access by train to many culturally enriching weekend travel destinations, including Munich, Salzburg, Vienna, Verona and Venice.
Cost:
US $5,995 for 4 weeks. Includes tuition, room and partial board, ground transportation from Munich airport to program location, group activities, group excursion to Neuschwanstein castle. Does not include flight to Munich.
